Working within the research group, a diverse group of engineers focused on new technologies for Dyson products. The aim of this role is to expand the team knowledge base to support current and future product development. The role will increase the software capability of the group increasing our ability to take on multidiscipline opportunities involving, user interface, signal processing, control and power systems.


This is what we need you to do...

This role will process small to medium sized projects independently as well as working to support the software within the larger team. The projects will typically run for 7 to 10 months and the engineer will be expected to support more than one project at a time. Although the emphasis of the role is software not all the projects undertaken will have a large software component.


This is what we need you to have...

Qualifications, skills and behaviours:
• Degree qualified or above
• DSP experience for 32 bit real time and control systems
• 8bit embedded systems
• Analogue and digital filtering
• Analogue and digital closed loop control
• Motor control
• Power systems
